Across a nursing career that’s spanned over 3 decades, Tangy has touched the lives of thousands of people. Having treated patients with a variety of diagnoses and symptoms, she has always felt their joy, pain, relief, and sorrow as if it were her own.
Tangy has worked in diverse environments as a registered nurse and nurse anesthetist. Her time working at a chronic pain clinic left a lasting impact on her career. Supporting patients with depression, anxiety, and PTSD in conjunction with chronic pain exposed her to the challenges of helping people get relief from treatment-resistant conditions — and the extent that these conditions impact quality of life.
Tangy was driven to find a better way to help patients with chronic, treatment-resistant diagnoses get back to their lives. After witnessing how effective ketamine can be for treating these conditions, she launched Zenfusions to offer this innovative treatment option to patients in need of relief. She’s committed to educating patients and providers about the power of ketamine therapy and bringing the benefits of ketamine to more patients across the country.
Tangy earned her master’s degree in nursing from Murray State University and has worked at a Level II Trauma Center as a nurse anesthetist. Tangy is an avid reader and traveler who enjoys spending time with her husband, Kevin, and watching Georgia football.
